Objective

To create a series of videos for Soul Degree men’s retreats that highlight the unique experience of brotherhood, healing, and personal growth. The goal was to capture both the emotion and the environment—through cinematic highlights and participant testimonials—that inspire men to join future retreats.

Creative Process

1. Discovery & Alignment
   Collaborated with Soul Degree founder and team to understand the retreat’s mission: connection, transformation, and nature’s role in healing.
2. Cinematic Highlights
   Captured breathtaking drone and handheld footage of hikes, group sessions, fire circles, and meditative moments, showcasing the natural environment and energy of the retreat.
3. Authentic Testimonials
   Filmed unscripted participant interviews where men shared their experiences, personal breakthroughs, and reflections of brotherhood.
4. B-Roll & Atmosphere
   Focused on details—hands on shoulders, laughter around meals, silence in nature—to communicate the spirit and intimacy of the retreat.
5. Editing & Delivery
   Produced a highlight reel to inspire future participants, plus testimonial cuts for web and social platforms. Polished with music, color grading, and narrative flow to maximize impact.

Results

The videos became powerful recruitment tools for upcoming retreats, giving prospective participants a real sense of what to expect. The authentic testimonials fostered trust, while the cinematic highlight reel conveyed the emotional and spiritual transformation at the heart of Soul Degree.
